Ever since Solo: A Star Wars Story and surrounding media introduced us to Qi’ra, Star Wars fans eagerly awaited the day when Han’s first love and the woman he fell for later would finally meet. Leia Organa may not be fond of partnering with criminal organizations to get what she needs, but a leader’s gotta do what a leader’s gotta do, right? The long-awaited meeting already happened once, but the two are expected to come together again.

In this week’s issue of the ongoing Star Wars comic, Leia and Qi’ra finally come face-to-face and realize they share common ground — and not the common ground you’re thinking of. The two women share enemies. And you know what they say about the enemies of our enemies. Even if it’s only temporary.

At this point in the story, Leia and other high-ranking members of the Rebel Alliance are trying to rescue lost members of its fleet. To do that, however, they need to obtain essential intelligence from Crimson Dawn.

Okay, okay — let’s address the bantha in the room. Qi’ra and Han Solo were once very much in love, even presumably after she killed her boss and stole his yacht without inviting young Solo to join her. But the two lost touch, and by the time Han met Leia, he quickly fell for her (though it took a while for the two to admit to those feelings).

Does Han come up in conversation between the two (past and present) loves of his life? You’ll just have to grab your copy of the latest Star Wars issue to find out.
