Celebrate Star Wars Day with new LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga DLCs
By Meg Dowell
Since its release a month ago, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has entertained and delighted fans with its storylines, jokes, plethora of side missions and characters, and of course, the bonus content it has released in the form of DLC character packs. Several have been released already, and the newest “batch” — see what we did there? — is finally here.
On May 4, the Mandalorian Season 2 and The Bad Batch DLC packs will be available for purchase (or for download, if you bought the deluxe edition of the game or the Character Collection separately). These character packs include LEGO versions of some of your favorite Star Wars TV characters — and there are more from the films already available to play!
Previously, DLCs for the first season of The Mandalorian, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, and Solo: A Star Wars Story included iconic characters like Jyn Erso, Din Djarin (The Mandalorian), and more. Now, players can play as Clone Force 99 (but not Omega — sorry!), Fennec Shand, Bo-Katan Kryze, Ahsoka Tano, and more.
Just when you thought you might run out of things to do, surprise! There’s more.
There are nearly 400 LEGO Star Wars characters in the game, and unlocking ones you don’t have feels more like a worthwhile part of the experience rather than a chore you have to grind excessively for. Even still, it’s nice to get some new characters from these DLCs to give you the chance to play even more of a variety of your favorites along the way.
LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is available now on your favorite gaming platforms, including but not limited to PC, Xbox One and Series S/X, Playstation 4/5, and more.
