Rumored Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order sequel title and release date

Apparently, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is getting a sequel and a release date.

According to a post from the Bespin Bulletin, a “Star Wars Insider” know for many leaks “reported on Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker”, the title of the sequel was revealed by video game journalist for Jeff Grubb on his show Grubbsnax, which can be viewed on the Twitch platform.

In an Grubbsnax episode that was posted on Twitch yesterday, a viewer correctly guessed the title of the sequel to be Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.  Grubb, a journalist for Gamesbeat,  could be viewed reading the chat window from a viewer by the name of “Colonelsanders21.”

In the same post, Bespin Bulletin also notes that he “was told of the title a number of weeks ago” and that “he did not have permission to share it.” He also added that he has been leaving some clues as to what the title to the game was on an episode of the BIOB The Podcast by “dropping hints such as telling listeners to think of Beyonce and Destiny’s Child due to their hit single, Survivor.”

In a second post, the Bulletin reported that Grubb took to Twitter to reveal that the release date to the Fallen Order sequel is slated to be either February or March 2023.

“Jedi Survivor is February or March,” Tweeted Grubb.

After the success of the game, there were rumors of a sequel to Fallen Order circulating. Many fans are anticipating that an official announcement will be made at Star Wars Celebration 2022 in Anaheim. However, the Bulletin pointed out the game does not have “a dedicated panel” at the event. Furthermore, there has not been any official announcement made by Electronic Arts (the video game company behind games like Fallen Order and the Star Wars: Battlefront series) or Respawn (the developer behind Fallen Order).

However, the Bulletin reports that EA did announcing that they were “releasing four currently unannounced video games in addition to their annual release by the end of March 2023.”

In addition, the site reported that the game is also slated to be released “on the Play Station 5, Xbox Series XIS, and PC.”

Star Wars JedI: Fallen Order takes place five years after the events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith and it centers around Cal Kestis, a Jedi fugitive and a survivor of Order 66.  The main focuses of the game are Cal’s mission to restore the Jedi Order and coming to grips with his past trauma he experienced during Order 66.
