With just a little over a week until the premiere of the Obi-Wan Kenobi series on Disney+, all eyes have been on Ewan McGregor and Heyden Christensen for news about the upcoming series. However today, in a new article from Vanity Fair, information has been revealed about both the upcoming Andor series and the third season of The Mandalorian.

The Mandalorian is the first live-action Star Wars series that was a hit and brought us the lovable Baby Yoda, or as we now know him, Grogu. With the conclusion of the second season back in December of 2020 and no word on when the third season would begin, fans were worried about when they might see him and Din Djarin again.

Luckily both characters appeared in The Book of Boba Fett and had their stories continued to the point where they were reunited. And now season three is finally on the horizon. The article mentions a late 2022 or early 2023 premiere date. It is still unknown what the season will be about. There have been rumors that it will involve the planet Mandalore but nothing has been confirmed.

In addition to this, information was also revealed regarding the premiere date of Andor. This show is set to follow Cassian Andor, played once again by Diago Luna, during his time in the Rebel Alliance prior to Rogue One. This show is set for a late summer 2022 premiere date, making it likely not long after the conclusion of Kenobi.

A trailer has yet to be shown for the series and it’s possible one might be revealed at the upcoming Star Wars Celebration. Star Wars fans truly have a lot to look forward to in the coming months!
