So far, Obi-Wan Kenobi has proven to be quite unlike any Disney+ Star Wars series fans have seen yet. Set to be the shortest series created so far with just six episodes in its limited run, it’s not wasting a moment. And even in its silent moments, its visual storytelling carries it even further into the realm of greatness.
Last week, Obi-Wan Kenobi came face-to-face with his former Jedi apprentice, now a man kept alive by machines known as Darth Vader. After a brief duel followed by Vader’s former master being dragged through fire — literally — Obi-Wan’s only hope seems to be the unlikely team of Tala and loading droid NED-B (protect him at all costs, please).
The episode also ended with Leia coming face-to-face with Inquisitor Reva for the first time, not knowing she was walking into a trap set by the vengeful Force-sensitive hunter. Reva’s true motives aren’t totally clear yet, but we do know she’s out to make sure Kenobi doesn’t stay hidden. And she’s going to hold Leia hostage for that exact reason.
Knowing Kenobi has some serious injuries to heal from, many Star Wars fans are expecting an episode filled with flashbacks — perhaps of Obi-Wan and Anakin fighting together during the Clone Wars, maybe of a certain Mandalorian duchess? A lot could happen. And it’s almost time to find out exactly what.
Here’s everything you need to know about viewing Obi-Wan Kenobi’s latest episode.
