Just one day after Disney+ aired the highly-anticipated Obi-Wan Kenobi limited series finale, one of its standout actors revealed we’ll be seeing her face on screen again sooner rather than later — even if it isn’t part of a galaxy far, far away.

Yesterday, Variety reported that Moses Ingram has landed a leading role in Apple TV+’s Lady in the Lake. She will star in the upcoming show alongside another Star Wars alum, Natalie Portman, who is also making her grand return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe next month.

The series is an adaption of Laura Lippman’s novel, which shares the same name. It takes place in 1960s Baltimore.

Obi-Wan Kenobi wasn’t Ingram’s first time shining on the small screen — she also appeared in Netflix’s The Queen’s Gambit before joining the Star Wars universe. Now landing a role with another streaming service, she will portray Cleo Sherwood in Lady in the Lake. The role originally belonged to another Star Wars actor, Lupita Nyong’o, who has since exited the project.

Ingram received waves of support from her Obi-Wan Kenobi co-stars and fans after undergoing online harassment following her Star Wars debut. She starred alongside Ewan McGregor (Obi-Wan Kenobi) and Hayden Christensen (Darth Vader) as Reva, a former Jedi Youngling who joined the Inquisitorius with the ultimate goal of taking down Darth Vader from the inside.

Reva’s story ended with her turning away from the dark side and embracing an uncertain yet hopeful future despite her sinister past. While there hasn’t been any official confirmation that her character will appear in other Star Wars projects anytime soon, Ingram has clearly proven her time on the small screen is only just beginning.

All Episodes of Obi-Wan Kenobi are now streaming on Disney+.
