Boba Fett fans are going to want to add another collection to their action figures or memorabilia.

Hot Toys, a Hong Kong-based “high end collectible brand, devoted to designing, developing, and producing high quality and highly detailed collectibles with authentic likeness” is releasing a 1/6th scale Boba Fett (Arena Suit) Collectible Figure.

The action figure is inspired by Boba’s Mandalorian armor being painted black while fighting in a gladiatorial arena during last year’s Marvel’s Star Wars comic event, The War of the Bounty Hunters  in which all the bounty hunters and the galaxy’s major factions rush to claim the carbonite frozen Han Solo.

The “Arena Suit” action figure is Boba Fett with his Mandalorian armor painted black. In addition, the figure also comes with a spear, a jetpack, a pair of blaster pistols, and a blaster rifle. Furthermore, the figure also comes with a different set of hands and a display base.

In War of the Bounty Hunters Alpha, witten by Charles Soule, Boba runs into trouble when the carbonite matrix encasing Han becomes unstable. Not wanting to delay his delivery of the frozen smuggler to Jabba, Fett heads to Nar Shaddaa and consults the help of a Besalisk doctor named Ragon. Ragon agrees to help stabilize the carbonite matrix in exchange for Fett to execute Wyren Lictor, a gladiator who killed a fighter he once sponsored.

Ragon also adds that Lictor was sponsored by the Kanji Hutts. Fett initially refuses to enter the fight due to having enough problems to deal with but Ragon promises to pay his entry fee.  He also advises that he can use nano-spray paint to paint the bounty hunter’s Beskar armor black so that he can hide his true identity from the Kanji Hutts.

With his armor painted black, Boba enters in the gladiatorial tournament under the alias “Jango” in honor of his “father” Jango Fett. This is a nod to the man who raised him and once donned the very armor he was wearing. The comic also shows a flashback of young Boba cradling his father’s helmet after the latter’s death at the hands of Jedi Master Mace Windu.  As “Jango: The Beskar Brawler,” Fett quickly climbs the ranks of fighters by killing each one that he encounters.

Fett would successfully defeat Lictor, a arachnoid-like humanoid, in a brutal fight to the death by using his jetpack’s missile launcher. rush back to Ragon’s only to find the Bessalisk dead and Solo missing. Fett would later learn that it was Han Solo’s old flame Qi’ra who would be behind the theft which would kick off the events of the War of the Bounty Hunters. In addition, Jabba the Hutt would place a bounty on the bounty hunter’s head for losing Solo.
