Surprise appearances we could see in the Andor series
By Dylan Devine
We are one month away from the release of the next big Star Wars project, Andor.
The storyline of Andor is set during the early days of the Rebellion, which leaves the possibility of there being some surprise appearances in the series.
Let’s discuss some of the surprise appearances we could see!
Ahsoka Tano
Ahsoka Tano is one of the most beloved Star Wars characters of all time. Tano made her live action debut back in 2020 during season two of The Mandalorian and also appeared in season one of The Book of Boba Fett in 2021. Could we now see her in Andor?
Andor is going to be focusing on the early days of the rebellion and what led to the rebel alliance officially being formed. Ahsoka Tano worked for the rebellion as a secret rebel agent known as “Fulcrum” in the rebellion’s early days.
The series takes place during 5 BBY which means that both Andor and Tano were actively working for the rebellion at the same time. With that being said, we could possibly see Andor and Tano both on a mission together for the rebellion.
Ahsoka Tano played a huge part in the formation of the rebel alliance so it absolutely would make sense for her to appear in this series. Having Tano appear in Andor would also likely add some hype to her solo spin off series Ahsoka set to release in 2023.
Hera Syndulla
Hera Syndulla is one of the main characters from the animated series, Star Wars Rebels. She has yet to make her live action debut, but I believe there is a real possibility she has her first live action appearance in Andor.
During the first season of Rebels, Syndulla was in contact with Senator Bail Organa who was one of the early leaders of the rebellion. We know for sure that Organa will be appearing in Andor. So, with the different connections that there are with phoenix cell and fulcrum, could that mean we see Syndulla make an appearance?
With Syndulla having a close relationship with Ahsoka Tano, I believe we could even see Tano and Syndulla appear TOGETHER in the Andor series.
Syndulla is confirmed to be appearing in the “Ahsoka” series so her appearing in Andor would be another opportunity to build a story or to just get some more hype for the series.
Jun Sato
Sato is one of the earliest members of the rebellion and worked alongside Senator Bail Organa. He made multiple appearances in Star Wars Rebels, and I could see him appearing in Andor alongside Organa as maybe someone that Andor answers to.
Obi-Wan Kenobi
I know, I know. This is definitely wishful thinking, but it is for sure a possibility. The only reason I say it is a possibility is because of the close relationship Kenobi has with Senator Bail Organa.
This relationship was shown even more in the “Obi-Wan Kenobi” series and actually played a big part in the story of the series. Maybe Organa could get in contact with Kenobi looking for his advice or even looking for some help once again.
Organa is set to have a big role in the Andor series and with him being such a close ally of Kenobi’s, I wouldn’t rule out a surprise appearance from the Jedi Master.
