A new trailer for Andor, the latest Star Wars series to hit Disney+, was released on Good Morning America and it was an action packed two and a half minutes! So, what all did we learn from the latest trailer?

Firstly, we learned that the series now debuts on September 21st with a three episode premier. The reason for the delay hasn’t been announced but, it will only build the anticipation that much more for this prequel to Rogue One. We also learn something us fans have known all along which is “To steal from the Empire, you just walk in like you belong.”  Cassian Andor almost breaks for the fourth wall in a voiceover saying just this.

Next we learn that this is setting up to be a very dark time in Star Wars history. As we know the series is set five years before the events of Rogue One and so the birth of the Rebellion will be seen in this show. The trailer shows us that we the fans will be spending a lot of time in the underworld of the galaxy while covered in dirt and grime. The series also looks to resemble a cinematic feature. While we will be seeing a darker side of things there were shots such as a look into the Imperial Senate room that shows that perhaps we will be spending time in the political realm of things as well.

Fans of not only Rogue One but, The Clone Wars might have noticed a certain character is back! Forest Whitaker is reprising his role as the guerilla warfare specialist Saw Gerrera. When we last saw him he was ending his time on the run as the Empire unleashed their brutal Death Star weaponry. If Saw is involved it’s safe to assume things will be getting messy at some point. Lastly, we learned that the Empire in all of their might uses regular old thermos’s for their coffee. See they’re not so different than us in this galaxy far far away after all.
