The history of LEGO Star Wars Disney+ specials has yet to disappoint. The LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special, released on “Life Day” in November 2020, was the first to feature post-sequel trilogy events (even if not “technically” canon). Terrifying Tales (October 2021) swept fans into an adventure filled with spooky tales and hilarious banter. LEGO Star Wars Summer Vacation is bound to do the same — and so much more.
The upcoming Disney+ special, like its predecessors, will bring a large band of familiar Star Wars characters together for a joy-filled, fun adventure fans of all ages will love. It’s summer in a galaxy far, far away, and Finn wants a vacation free of conflict gosh darn it!
While the story loosely takes place in the sequel trilogy era, it will feature characters across eras — even those who are supposedly no longer alive in the canon timeline. Force ghost Obi-Wan, for example, interacts with Finn in the trailer. Darth Vader and the Emperor plan a day at the beach. Wild? Yes. Delightful? Absolutely.
Like previous LEGO Star Wars Disney+ specials, this will be a one-time streamed TV event rather than an episodic story. However, also like its predecessors, once it premieres, it will be available to stream whenever you want to watch for the foreseeable future.
Here’s when you can expect LEGO Star Wars Summer Vacation to become available for streaming, what time and where.
