A legend among both Jedi and Sith — and now technically canon thanks to Adam Christopher’s Shadow of the Sith novel — Revan is a fan-favorite character who originated in a classic Star Wars video game.

Revan is known both as a Jedi Knight and as a Sith — Darth Revan wielded a red lightsaber in his darkest hours. If you don’t already own a replica of that saber, your chance to rectify that has come once again.

Hasbro has just announced that its Black Series Darth Revan lightsaber is coming back for another release.

The hilt is inspired by Revan’s lightsaber from the Knights of the Old Republic games, and the blade changes from red to purple. In Revan’s story, the character moves from the dark side to the light — in the games, gameplay allows players to choose either path.

Revan’s lightsaber is accompanied by many in the same Black Series collection — including Leia’s lightsaber, Rey Skywalker’s saber from the end of The Rise of Skywalker, and even the legendary Darksaber from Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels, and The Mandalorian.

While Force FX Black Series lightsabers aren’t the same sabers you would buy from Galaxy’s Edge (or make yourself at Savi’s), they’re still a high-quality collectible Star Wars item you don’t want to miss out on. This is the second time Revan’s lightsaber is up for sale, and there’s no guarantee it will be back in stock for this price again. Now that Revan is “canon,” if you haven’t grabbed your saber yet and have always wanted to, now might finally be the time.

Available for pre-order through Hasbro now, the saber will cost about $278.99 and will become available in Spring 2023.
