Three years in, Disney+ has filled our small screens with more Star Wars TV than we could have ever imagined in such a short time before the platform existed. Now that Disney+ Day is on the horizon once again, there may be a few things you’ll want to watch the day they release.

This week, Disney+ released a list of some of the new media that will stream on the big day. This ranges from Frozen sing-alongs to the Disney+ debut of a theatrically released Marvel movie to — that’s right — some exciting Star Wars content!

Obi-Wan Kenobi: A Jedi’s Return, announced earlier this week, s a behind-the-scenes documentary about the making of Disney+’s limited series Obi-Wan Kenobi. This documentary will follow a similar format to the Disney Gallery releases that followed shows like The Book of Boba Fett and both seasons of The Mandalorian; it’s just taking on a unique name.

Along with the new behind-the-scenes Obi-Wan Kenobi documentary, Disney fans can also look forward to a new episode of She-Hulk and the Disney+ premiere of Marvel’s Thor: Love and Thunder, the most recent MCU film to hit theaters.

Many are speculating that Disney+ Day will come with even more announcements — such as a Bad Batch Season 2 release date or possibly a second trailer leading up to the series’ supposed Fall 2022 release.

However, while speculation is wholly valid, let’s not forget the online uproar that resulted from 2021’s Disney+ Day — in which the streaming service released one minute-long behind-the-scenes Kenobi teaser with no other Star Wars news revealed.

If you’re waiting for large amounts of Star Wars news to drop at once, it’s probably not going to happen on Disney+ Day. Because the next Star Wars Celebration is in April 2023, much of the big TV and movie news you might be hoping for will likely be saved for that.

Stay tuned for more Disney+ Day updates leading up to September 8, 2022.
