Pedro Pascal won’t spoil The Mandalorian Season 3, and neither should you

Not a day goes by without the Star Wars fandom begging to know even the tiniest details about new content that hasn’t been released yet. While some are constantly on the hunt for spoilers, you’ll have a hard time finding them for The Mandalorian Season 3 — especially coming from Din Djarin himself, Pedro Pascal.

At Star Wars Celebration Anaheim 2022, Pascal explained why he’s careful about the questions he answers when he’s being interviewed about upcoming projects.

“The hardest part is all of the creative ways journalists find to try and trick you, but I’ve gotten really good at it,” the actor said. “The easiest part of it is that I don’t want anything to spoil anybody. I really, really don’t. I’m a big mouth and I don’t really keep any secrets. I want everything to be a surprise, and there are surprises coming in Season Three.”

In the first two seasons of the series, Din and Grogu embark on an epic journey to keep the latter safe and unite him with his own kind. While Season 2 ended with Grogu leaving with Luke Skywalker to begin his Jedi training, The Book of Boba Fett reunited the pair — presumably for good.

What will The Mandalorian Season 3 entail? Not much information has been offered officially from anyone involved — and that’s a good thing. So far, the show has managed to drop not one, but two huge surprises on viewers without copious spoilers. Luke Skywalker showing up at the end of Season 2 was a big one, of course. But no one expected a 50-year-old member of Yoda’s species to show up at the end of the show’s first episode either, and look where we are now.

Sometimes it’s better to be surprised.

Star Wars: The Mandalorian Season 3 is expected to drop on Disney+ in February 2023.
