There are always those fun days where something silly rises up and takes over the Star Wars fandom for a few hours. These kind of moments can create lasting inside jokes, artwork, fanfic, and sometimes become fandom lore.

One of these moments happened in the form of Star Wars Rebels actor Taylor Gray recording a commercial for Buffalo Wild Wings. This shouldn’t be a big deal, right? Taylor is an actor and has done other voice-over work like in Netflix’s She-Ra and the Princesses of Power. Why did this particular commercial catch the attention of the fandom?

That’s because this commercial sounds exactly like his Rebels character, Ezra Bridger.

Originally posted by Multiversial Studios on TikTok, the commercial was shared on Twitter and launched the fandom into a hilarious frenzy.

With fandom doing what it does best, this led to a slew of amazing tweets from fans who really ran away with this idea of Ezra working at a Buffalo Wild Wings.

Some also roped Grand Admiral Thrawn into the saucy, delicious boneless wing mix as well.

Some people spun wild headcanons to hilariously fill in the gaps of what Thrawn and Ezra has been up to this whole time.

Some fans noted that this should absolutely be a new restaurant at Disney’s Galaxy’s Edge. I love this idea, even if they just added it as a menu item.

I absolutely would be remiss if I didn’t share this excellent fan edit. It made me laugh all over again.

While there were a lot of laughs going around, some did take the time to express missing Ezra and wanting more animated projects in light of Rebels characters coming into live action.

The last time we saw Ezra Bridger was in the series finale of Star Wars Rebels in “Family Reunion – and Farewell.” Ezra called upon the purrgil to help the Rebels free Lothal. These space whale-like creatures with the ability to jump through hyperspace seized Ezra and Grand Admiral Thrawn and flew away to an unknown location. Thrawn was mentioned in The Mandalorian episode “The Jedi” as Ahsoka Tano is actively looking for the Grand Admiral. With recent teases of Thrawn showing up in the Ahsoka series and the neverending rumors of his casting, it’s only a matter of time before we get the answer about what happened to Ezra Bridger.

Until then, I am absolutely playing this video of Ezra Bridger at a Buffalo Wild Wings on loop. Thank you, Taylor Gray, for this excellent commercial.
