The following contains spoilers for the most recent episode of She-Hulk and The Book of Boba Fett.

Although Marvel fans didn’t get the cameo they wanted in this week’s episode of She-Hulk, another actor stole the show with his performance. If you’re wondering why Mr. Immortal seemed familiar, it’s because you recently saw the same actor in Star Wars.

David Pasquesi has appeared in various films and TV shows, such as Angels and Demons and Veep. Star Wars fans, however, would recognize him as the annoying majordomo in The Book of Boba Fett.

The orange Twi’lek was the representative for the mayor of Mos Espa, the Ithorian Mok Shaiz. We were first introduced to him in Episode 1, when he unabashedly tells Boba that the mayor will not give tribute to the new Daimyo. His character at once seems gracious and grating, passive aggression rolling off of him in waves.

In She-Hulk, Pasquesi’s character is eerily similar. Mr. Immortal is a super-powered individual who is unable to die. He also has severe commitment issues, choosing to fake his death instead of get a divorce. And he’s done it not once, but nine times.

When his exes come calling, Mr. Immortal asks GLK&H for help. He tries to use the same sleazy charm of the majordomo, insisting he’s really “a nice guy”. But, unable to handle confrontation when his lawyers call out his behavior, he decides to jump out the window. (Yes, really.)

In The Book of Boba Fett, the majordomo evaded confrontation in a similar way: stealing a speeder and forcing Boba and Fennec to chase him all over Mos Espa. While some fans didn’t care for the chase, it was the epitome of avoidant behavior.

Both shows demonstrate that David Pasquesi is a brilliant character actor who plays annoying, conflict-avoidant male manipulators just a little too well.
