WARNING: The following contains SPOILERS for Andor Season 1, Episode 2.

Bix sees the Empire’s message about searching for a man that fits Cassian’s description. Cassian’s mother also sees the same message, but her son will only reveal that he made a mistake and that’s why he’s wanted for questioning.

Meeting up with Bix, he explains what happened with the security guards and why he needs the money to get off Ferrix. Timm overhears their conversation and, realizing who Cassian really is, moves to silently turn him in. Rude.

Deputy Inspector Karn responds to Timm’s anonymous tip with the exact level of enthusiasm you’d expect from someone desperate to prove their boss wrong (good luck with that). He and a squad of a dozen men are headed to Ferrix, now that he’s put two and two together and realized Cassian Andor is the man they’re looking for.

It’s going to go great. Nothing is going to go wrong at all. Why would it?

Things are really heating up now. Bix and Timm are more than just co-workers, it turns out — and Luthen, her secret buyer!, finally approaches. Cassian retrieves the valuable item that’s presumably going to get him off-planet and (sort of) free.

Flashback: Kenarri. The group of kids approaches the crash site and are attacked, but fight back and win the battle. When they rush off carrying one of their own — wounded — “Kassa” stays behind.

Back in the present, it’s going to cost Cassian more than he hoped to buy passage off-world. Cassian is off to meet Bix’s mysterious buyer, who happens to have just shown up on Ferrix with a plan.
