Could Wednesdays be any better? Whether you’re looking to watch the latest episode of Andor or pick up the latest Star Wars comic, there’s something for you today! It’s a lighter week as we get ready to say goodbye to September and hello to spooky season (October), but that just leaves more time to check out all the other great Star Wars stuff that’s out there. So, what new Star Wars comics are there this week?

New Star Wars Comics: Doctor Aphra #24 and Han Solo & Chewbacca #6

In Doctor Aphra #24, Sana Starros and her crew are desperately trying to save the titular character, and their search takes them to an old haunt where they find two familiar faces—will they survive? Aphra continues to probe further into the Ascendant’s mysteries as well as the real source of the Spark Eternal.

In a preview on StarWars.com, Aphra is living in her own memory, trying to remember which memory she’s in from when she backstabbed the Hast Antu Gang. The Spark Eternal appears as a flying Chadrafan to help guide the rogue archaeologist.

Doctor Aphra #24 is written by Alyssa Wong and illustrated by Minkyu Jung, with cover art by Rickie Yagawa.

As we start the back half of the Han Solo & Chewbacca limited series, issue 6 finds Chewie imprisoned on the Gulhadar prison planet! You won’t believe who his cellmate is either—Maz Kanata! Furthermore, what happened to the Millennium Falcon?

StarWars.com also provided a preview of Han Solo & Chewbacca #6 where we see Chewie in the middle of a prison fight. Things aren’t going too well for our favorite Wookie, but things turn when his opponent is distracted by a potential new friend, Phaedra.
