It’s a tale as old as time (or 1977). With every new Star Wars movie or TV show comes merchandise. Now that Andor has launched on Disney+, we have our first glimpse at the Hasbro Black Series figures.

This is Wave 35 of the 6” Black Series line. It was revealed at Hasbro PulseCon on Saturday, and will feature Cassian Andor, Luthen Rael, Bix Caleen, and Senator Mon Mothma. The figures will each retail at $24.99 and are currently slated for release next summer. They are currently available for pre-order from Pulse retailers, as well as Amazon.

This is the first set of Black Series figures to feature Hasbro’s new “plastic-free” packaging. The box shape is the same as the one they recently revamped. However, it no longer features a plastic window, but now has the figure printed on the cardboard face. Hasbro began transitioning The Vintage Collection to “plastic-free” earlier this year. This is the first Black Series to follow the trend though.

In addition to the Black Series announcement, we also saw the first Vintage Collection reveals related to Andor. The popular, 3.75” line will also get their version of Cassian Andor, as well as a figure for Vel Sartha. These will be released in the traditional, plastic blister packaging. Just like the Black Series figures, they are currently up for pre-order with Pulse retailers and Amazon.

Unlike most of the recent Disney+ shows, Andor has not gotten it’s dedicated weekly merch day (i.e. Obi-Wan Wednesdays). Yet, these days were not often well-received by many fans. They were often padded out with generic apparel releases. Plus, many of the more desired products, such as those from Lego, Funko, and Hasbro, were old reveals that had already sold-out on pre-order.

With Black Series and The Vintage Collection already for sale, the only Hasbro line still waiting for its Andor content is the Retro Collection. The Kenner inspired 3.75” line has put out around 6-8 figures for each season of live-action television. The announcement of which has often come early during the season. It remains to be seen if Andor will receive similar treatment.
