Another episode of Andor down — many more to go, it turns out.

Andor is Star Wars’ latest Disney+ TV series and has blown fans and critics away so far with its unique approach compared to other previous and ongoing Star Wars projects. Following Cassian Andor before the events of Rogue One, it shows how he goes from a low-level criminal to one of the Rebellion’ most important members.

Diego Luna reprises his role as Cassian Andor accompanied by a stellar cast including Stellan Skarsgard, Kyle Soler, Genevieve O’Reilly and Alex Lawther. The series has a unique structure with 3 episode clusters making up arcs in the overall series. So far we have seen Andor’s escape from Imperial authorities on Ferrix, as well as the heist of an Imperial base on Aldhani.

With episode 7 of Andor setting up a new three-episode arc releasing over the next several weeks, fans are wondering how many episodes of Andor are left in Season 1. There are 12 episodes overall in Season 1 of Andor, meaning that 5 episodes are still to be released. This makes it the longest live-action Star Wars TV series and the longest live-action series Disney + have released so far.  The twelfth and final episode of the season is set to release to Disney + on November 23, 2022.

Fans shouldn’t fret though, as we will see more of the lovable rogue in Andor Season 2, which was confirmed by Tony Gilroy before Andor Season 1 had even aired. Filming for the season, which will contain 12 episodes, is scheduled to take place from November 2022 until Summer 2023 so a 2024 release is likely.

New episodes of Star Wars: Andor drop on Wednesdays exclusively on Disney+.
