Andy Serkis has joined the ranks of Star Wars actors who have played multiple roles within the franchise (if Dee Bradley Baker doesn’t get the automatic win here, no one does). But would he ever return to his original role as Supreme Leader Snoke?

The actor recently suggested Star Wars should have more Snoke in it — even if he’s not the one to give the character another spotlight. Rather, he thinks there’s a lot to explore with the character. He’s not wrong.

He said: “I don’t think we’ve seen enough Snoke, I think people would love to see more Snoke, and really infill the lore behind Snoke, because I think there’s so much fertile ground that has yet to be covered.”

See? Nothing but straight, honest facts.

Serkis unexpectedly appeared on-screen — in his full human form this time — in Andor. He plays Kino Loy, one of the Narkina 5 prison managers who, let’s be honest, probably won’t make it out of there alive. I suppose that’s also what we thought about most of Vel’s heist team — many of them did make it out alive, until they didn’t. All surprises. One hundred percent pain.

The actor behind Snoke doesn’t have to be the one to portray him in the future, though he might take the opportunity if it suits him. What if he narrated the Snoke: A Novel audiobook? Now that would be an instant best seller.

Will we see Snoke again? Probably not on screen, especially in live-action. But he has appeared before in comics outside the sequel trilogy — he interacts with Ben Solo in The Rise of Kylo Ren miniseries. We could get more comics mentioning or featuring his character, or even a book.

If the actor behind the character has his way, we haven’t seen the last of Palpatine’s Force-sensitive clone creation.
