Andor’s Vel Sartha is getting the Funko Pop! treatment

Rebel Vel Sartha is the latest Andor character to enter into the ever-expanding realm of Star Wars merchandising. A Hasbro Black Series figure of the character went up for pre-order earlier this month, and a Funko exclusive is soon to follow.

Funko announced a Pop! version of the character as part of its forthcoming line of CCXP 2022 shared retail exclusives, which go on sale the morning of Wednesday, November 30.

Vel first appeared in the second arc of the series and was possibly the most skeptical of Cassian’s arrival and involvement in the heist. In the end, she may have been less trustable than the show’s title character.

Over the course of the first season of Andor, Vel became just one of the many fascinating and complex characters to emerge from Tony Gilroy’s story. She operates on behalf of the rebel cause and appears to be loyal to both Luthen and Mon Mothma, her cousin and a secret rebel leader. But she is also dedicated to the downfall of Cassian Andor … and she’s in love with another member of the rebellion. That’s a lot for one person to shoulder.

We don’t see Vel in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, so her fate in Andor Season 2 is definitely up in the air. It’s a little early to think about that though, so let’s focus on the fact that a Vel bobblehead could be yours very soon.

This particular collectible figure will go on sale on the Funko Shop website starting at 6 a.m. PT November 30.
