After The Bad Batch aired its final episodes of Season 1 in 2021, Star Wars fans are finally welcoming the “dad batch” back to their small screens.

It’s been over a year (in “our” world) since Hunter, Wrecker, Echo, Tech, and Omega escaped Kamino, and they’re preparing to set off on new adventures while they figure out what their roles in the post-Clone Wars galaxy are supposed to be.

This is bound to be an exciting season of animated Star Wars TV, as the last season left viewers with more questions than answers. Will Crosshair eventually leave the Empire and return to Clone Force 99? What are the Imperials really doing with that cloning technology? And what other secrets might we learn about Omega?

With an impressive list of voice actors joining (mostly) Dee Bradley Baker and Michelle Ang to bring this series to life, there’s no limit to what Disney+’s latest installment of animated Star Wars content could accomplish. We already know of a few guest appearances coming up this season thanks to already released trailers, but that’s only the stuff they wanted us to see. Many surprises likely await us — especially if this isn’t the last season of this grand adventure.

But Season 2 has only just begun.
