There’s a lot of Star Wars happening this year — and The Bad Batch has the pleasure of being the first of multiple Star Wars TV shows to air new episodes on Disney+ in 2023.
Season 2 began the first week of January with a two-episode premiere, but it won’t take four months for all 16 episodes to air on the streaming platform. Here’s what we know about when each episode will become available to stream.
The Bad Batch Season 2 release schedule
Though there will be some overlap with The Mandalorian Season 3, there won’t be much. This season of The Bad Batch will air two episodes for its premiere and two episodes both at its midseason and for its season finale. So some weeks there will be two episodes released on the same day, while others will only yield one.
Here’s the full release schedule for The Bad Batch Season 2.

Though the newest season of The Bad Batch will be over before spring really gets going, there’s plenty more to look forward to in terms of Disney+ Star Wars TV. The third season of The Mandalorian starts streaming March 1, and the second volume of Star Wars Visions will soon follow in April. And that’s not even all of it.
Both Ahsoka and Skeleton Crew are also expected this year, along with the mysterious Amandla Stenberg-led The Acolyte. Even if Bad Batch isn’t your cup of tea, it’s likely one of these other shows will be everything you’re looking for and more.
