Galaxy of Heroes: How to win with your best bounty hunter teams
By Meg Dowell
There are hundreds of characters to choose from in Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes, with dozens of character combinations available to build teams of troopers, Jedi, bounty hunters, and more.
Bounty Hunter teams are required to complete a number of events and quests in the game. But as long as you’re prepared to start small, do plenty of collectible farming, and work your way up to bigger and better teams, you’ll learn how to win in no time.
Every bounty hunter character in Galaxy of Heroes
As of January 2023, there are 17 bounty hunter-class characters to choose and build teams from in Galaxy of Heroes. Every bounty hunter character in the game is classified as a Dark Side character except for The Mandalorian, Greef Karga, and Boushh (Leia Organa), who are all classified as Light Side characters.
The full list of bounty hunter characters available in the game is:
- Boba Fett (classic)
- Boba Fett (Son of Jango)
- Jango Fett
- Aurra Sing
- Greedo
- Dengar
- Zam Wesell
- IG-88
- Cad Bane
- Bossk
- Embo
- The Mandalorian (classic)
- Greef Karga
- Fennec Shand
- Krrsantan
- Jabba the Hutt (Galactic Legend)
- Boushh (Leia Organa)
What makes the bounty hunter class of characters unique is that every bounty hunter character in the game can be placed in a Leader slot. This means you have the luxury of assigning the Leader role to your strongest bounty hunter character at any given time.
Most bounty hunters are also Attackers and Scoundrels, with a handful of them assigned the Support role instead of Attacker. Bossk and Krrsantan are classified as a Tanks; you’ll definitely want one of them in your primary bounty hunter squad.
How to win with bounty hunters in Galaxy of Heroes
Even though it’s going to seem like a daunting task, characters that take longer to farm are going to serve the player well in the long-term. Most recommendations point to teams that include Boba Fett, Jango, and Bossk. You can supplement with Support-class characters like Greef and Cad Bane.
Some of these characters are also required to complete certain events, so you can take down two convors with one rock focusing on those.
In general, your primary task should be to level up your first five characters as much as possible. If you’re a free-to-player, it’s going to take time and patience. But be prepared to focus solely on bounty hunters until you have the base team you want or need.
From there, you can work on unlocking and leveling up other characters and play around until you’ve created a squad that works for you.
