18. Logray

The Ewoks are an adorable bunch, so long as you don’t encounter them in the dark corners of Star Wars: Battlefront. Most Star Wars fans know Wicket Wystri Warrick, who was played by Warwick Davis, but few know that almost all of the Ewoks have their own names!

Logray was an Ewok with a distinctive brown and tan striped fur coat, who served as the chief shaman of the Bright Tree tribe on Endor. Having had limited experience with outsiders, when Luke, Leia, Han, and their companions arrived on the moon, Logray believed C-3P0 was a god and ordered his fellow Ewoks to cook up Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and Chewbacca as a sacrifice to C-3P0.

Fortunately Luke was able to use the Force to trick the Ewoks into believing C-3P0 was doing powerful magic and they spared them from becoming a sacrificial meal.

In Star Wars: Legends, Logray appears in the Care Bear-esq Ewoks comic book series and the 1980s Ewok TV series, where he is depicted with a long grey beard and wearing a purple tunic. Logray also helps Cindel and Mace in the Caravan of Courage, after they are separated from their parents who have been taken by the Gorax.
