21. Lindon Javes

Lindon Javes is another character who only appears in video games, specifically Star Wars: Squadrons. Lindon was born on Todirium III, where he joined the militia as a young man. He was recruited into the Galactic Empire, where he became skilled in hazardous flying, but he had no desire to kill innocent lives the way the Empire did. While on an assignment that would have led to the death of countless civilians, Javes acted against his fellow Imperial pilots and immediately defected to the Alliance.

Despite the Empire looking for him on charges of desertion and theft, he would go on to become a member of the Rebel Alliance who ascended through the ranks by hunting down Imperial starships. Eventually, he went on to join the New Republic Defense Force and was given command of the Vanguard Squadron.

While Lindon Javes is seen for the first time in Squadrons, he was actually first introduced in Alexander Freed’s Alphabet Squadron a year before the game’s release. He worked alongside General Hera Syndulla and, despite her duplicitous nature, even agreed with Lieutenant Yrica Quell when she and Syndulla were developing plans to attack the Empire following the Battle of Endor.

Lindon Javes was portrayed by Phil Morris in Star Wars: Squadron.
