8. Jagged Fel

Jagged Fel is a character that exists strictly in the Expanded Universe. He was an ace pilot who followed in the footsteps of his father, General Baron Soontir Fel, and dedicated his life to military service. Given where he was raised, in proximity to the Chiss in the Unknown Regions, he was enrolled in the Chiss military academy at a young age. When the Yuuzhan Vong began to wreak havoc on the galaxy, he was sent to assist the New Republic, which is where he first met Jaina Solo, the daughter of Han Solo and Princess Leia.

Anyone who grew up loving the Expanded Universe and the Solo kids, knows that Jagged Fel played a major part in Jaina Solo’s story. Their romance was an epic one, however, it was often tragic as well. Their individual duties often kept them separated and Jaina suffered greatly after the war. They also thwarted assassination attempts, near-death experiences, and conflicting emotions. Ultimately, the pair did end up together.

While the Solo siblings will never appear in the current canon, there is always the possibility that the Fel family will appear in Chiss-associated stories.
