On February 17, 2023, the latest Marvel film was released by the title of Ant Man & The Wasp: Quantumania.

People are calling this the most Star Wars-like movie coming from the MCU. When doing an interview with Yahoo UK, a few of the stars and the movie’s director were asked about a potential Star Wars X Marvel Crossover! Let’s take a look at what Paul Rudd had to say about it!

Will there be a Star Wars X Marvel Crossover? Here’s what Paul Rudd thinks!

Long story short, Paul Rudd simply thinks that a Star Wars X Marvel crossover would cause some major problems. And not just with the movie itself or anything else like that, but with the fans. Die hard fans of either franchise might not like this whole idea of mending and coming together as one.

Rudd stated that he truly believes that these two universes are good and work well on their own. But there is a crossover among the brand new Marvel film and the Star Wars universe. Director, Peyton Reed (of Ant Man & The Wasp: Quantumania) actually worked on The Mandalorian. There is actually some technology that is used in both the brand new Marvel film, as well as throughout the entirety of the show, The Mandalorian. Rudd also mentions something about “the volume”, which while we’re not quite too sure what he means by that, Yahoo UK did insert a photo on the art for the movie and an original trilogy film poster that look oddly similar in a few different ways.

Here’s a quote straight from the interview, as said by Paul Rudd himself:

"“These two universes I think are pretty good on their own. I think if there was a crossover between Star Wars and Marvel it would just be rioting in the streets for diehard enthusiasts. Maybe.”"

Paul Rudd might not the that far off from what he said in his interview with Yahoo UK. There are some super hard core fans of both franchises that don’t like when legit anything within their specific beloved franchise is messed with, so God for bid it’s crossed over with a totally different one.
