The Mandalorian Season 3: What iconic Star Wars characters may appear

Folks! We are officially just under one week until the premiere of The Mandalorian Season 3 is released out on Disney+ on March 1st, 2023! We could not be more excited!

There have been so many rumors about the show, analysis of what the trailer could set up for this season, but on top of it all, who else from Star Wars might show up? So, with all of that being said, let’s take a look at some of the most iconic characters that just make sense to be in The Mandalorian Season 3 and what else to expect from the show coming up!

In no particular order, here are the top 5 characters that we think might show up this season:

1. Ben Solo

During the time frame of the third season of The Mandalorian, Ben Solo (Kylo Ren) would be roughly 6 years old. He is the son of Princess Leia Organa and Han Solo. Now, we’ve seen other members of his family show up in other Star Wars shows from Disney+ so why not meet the Supreme Leader before his time? This would be a super cool way to act as a sort of prequel as to maybe some even earlier signs of darkness within him and what makes or made him the Kylo Ren that we know and love today.

2. Princess Leia Organa

Of course, there’s no way to really being her back, as the actress who played Leia, Carrier Fisher, sadly passed away back on December 27th, 2016. However, she was CGI’d in her “final film” of The Rise of Skywalker where she is seen iconically hugging Rey(Skywalker) as she is having some troubles navigating the ways of The Force and being a tried and true Jedi. I don’t see why they can’t CGI her again, as long as the family allows it of course. I personally think that she’d be a great addition to the show.

3. Darth Vader

As a famous Star Wars quote states, “No one is really ever gone.” I think somehow bringing Darth Vader into this would be super cool. Even if we don’t see him and we just hear people or other characters merely speak his name, I’d say that that definitely counts too!

4. Han Solo

We’ve already talked about his wife and child potentially coming back in The Mandalorian Season 3, so why not the man, the myth, the legend himself, am I right? Although his character died prior to The Rise of Skywalker, we still saw him within the film, so why not see him again. Some people even call his character “as iconic as Luke Skywalker”, so it’s only fitting to put him on this list. Seeing him again would surely give us some major nostalgia moments.

5. Lando Calrissian

Finally, we’ve got the ever-so-famous Lando! With his super famous smile and ever-so-contagious laugh, having Mr. Calrissian back on set would truly be an honor and bring mega smiles onto all of the fan’s faces.
