March is upon us and it is maybe one of the busiest Star Wars days we’ve had in a long while. Not only is it The Bad Batch day, but SEASON THREE OF THE MANDALORIAN IS UPON US! And if that wasn’t enough for your Star Wars loving heart, we have SIX new comics hitting comic shelves today as well as two making their way to Marvel Unlimited. And since you’re caught up on the Disney+ side of Star Wars today, let’s take a look at the new Star Wars comics this week!

New Star Wars Comics: Star Wars #32, Han Solo & Chewbacca #10, The Mandalorian #8, Hidden Empire #4, The High Republic – The Blade #3, Hyperspace Stories #4

First, in the flagship title for Marvel, Star Wars #32 asks “is the Force Broken?” Luke Skywalker’s link to the profound powers of the galaxy has been disturbed by the deep waves sent through the Force by Lady Qi’ra and Crimson Dawn’s attempts to defeat the Sith. Will he go to any lengths to recover what he has lost?

Star Wars #32 is written by Charles Soule and illustrated by Madibek Musabekov, with cover art by Stephen Segovia.

The keys to the next big Star Wars event begin with the conclusion of the Han Solo & Chewbacca limited series. Han Solo and Chewbacca are the targets of Khel Tanna! Chewbacca and Han Solo are the targets of Marshal Buck Vancto! Corbus is seeking out Han Sol—you get the point. What secret to the Star Wars galaxy’s future does the urn contain?

Han Solo & Chewbacca #10 is written by Marc Guggenheim and illustrated by David Messina, with cover art by Phil Noto.

And while we’re celebrating the Season 3 premiere of The Mandalorian on Disney+, over at Marvel we’re reliving the epic Season 1 finale of The Mandalorian comic adaptation! It’s redemption time: The Mandalorian and his allies come to know their true enemy, who already knows much about them.

In a StarWars.com exclusive preview, we are reminded of the unpleasant troopers who kept The Child in a sack and were NOT VERY NICE TO OUR BEAUTIFUL BABY BOY. As if it was all planned to coincide with The Mandalorian Chapter 17 today, we also are reminded of the bond The Child and IG-11 formed.

The Mandalorian #8 is written by Rodney Barnes and illustrated by Georges Jeanty, with cover art by Sara Pichelli!

The endgame gambit approaches in Hidden Empire #4. The great game of Lady Qi’ra is now in its last stages. The Fermata Cage will open as a result of the summoning of the Sith. It’s all or nothing for Qi’ra.

Hidden Empire #4 is written by Charles Soule and illustrated by Steven Cummings, with cover art by Paulo Siqueira.

Last up, from Marvel, is The High Republic – The Blade #3. Because of the deteriorating circumstances on the planet Gansevor, Jedi Masters Porter Engle and Barash Solvain are now engaged in a struggle with no obvious end in sight. There must be certainty, and a side must be picked, but new foes have shown up, and time is running short.

Hidden Empire #4 is written by Charles Soule and illustrated by Marco Castiello and Jethro Morales, with cover art by Giuseppe Camuncoli.

Finally, there are blasters and battles and Wookiees galore in Hyperspace Stories #4 from Dark Horse Comics! It’s a festive time on Kashyyyk, but is there anywhere that’s safe from the Dark Side? Meanwhile, Rey agrees to Chewbacca’s invitation to travel to his home planet for the annual Life Day celebration because she needs a break from her responsibilities to the Resistance. Yet neither of them realized that this party has a crasher—a ruthless bounty hunter sent by the First Order!

After all the new Star Wars comics that are out today, you may not have time to catch up on the Marvel Unlimited new releases, but they’ll be there when you’re ready! To kick things off, the first issue of Yoda is now available! He was a legend to some. He served as a teacher to others. Yoda is now practically forgotten, exiled, and plagued by his history. Only Yoda can answer to a frantic appeal for assistance that reaches the Jedi Council on Coruscant in the first of three story cycles. But how far will he go to defend a neighborhood from harm?

Yoda #1 is written by Cavan Scott and illustrated by Nico Leon, with cover art by Phil Noto.

To the Empire? What function do bounty hunters have? And what is going on with Doctor Aphra? Watch as Marc Guggenheim (Han Solo & Chewbacca) and a motley crew of artists deliver you an exciting adventure you won’t soon forget as they continue the heritage of heroes and villains in the galaxy far, far away!
