The Mandalorian Season 3 is off to a great start already. Chapter 17 gave fans lots of exciting moments to talk about until the next episode comes out. However, many fans are already trying to predict what surprises the next one will bring.
Here are 3 predictions for Season 3, Chapter 18, which is rumored to be over 40 minutes long!
- Din will arrive on Mandalore: This one seems like a given. The episode should hopefully deliver on what’s been promised throughout the trailers. It’s time for the makers to show us what’s left of the battered Mandalorian home world. Hopefully it will be a sight to behold and worth all the wait for fans when they get to see Mandalore in live action. It’s time to see how bad the destruction is there and whether there’s any hope that it will recover and be rebuilt again one day, or is the land simply uninhabitable?
- Din will find the mines of Mandalore: That’s his entire purpose. He wants to bathe in the living waters underneath the mines. The ending of Chapter 17 teased that there’s more to what meets the eye in the mines or in the living waters, and that’s another thing to look forward to. Will fans get a look at what’s the “magic” all about and will the story about it be revealed? Another important thing is to see if Din bathes in the waters immediately once he finds them or if the makers will save that moment for later on in the season. Who knows, he might find something magical while he’s down there!
- We’ll find out more about Bo Katan: Bo Katan seems to be going through it. There are so many questions about her. How did she lose the Darksaber and how did it end up in Gideon’s hands? This is a big mystery and something that needs to be addressed eventually. While Bo Katan looks like she resents Din, the truth is Gideon is responsible for her plight. He took joy in her suffering at the end of Chapter 16 and was thrilled to see the potential of a rivalry between Din and Bo Katan. Now the audience needs to hear her thoughts and find out what she’s really thinking while living all alone in a giant Mandalorian castle.
