If I get in line now, there’s an outside chance I might get into the Lucasfilm Showcase…

With little over a month from the doors at London’s ExCel Centre swinging open to Star Wars fans, our weekends are starting to become clearer and clearer by the week. Special guest announcements have been drip-released over the past few months, with the likes of Ewan McGregor, Hayden Christiansen, and Ian McDiarmid available for photo and autograph opportunities over the course of the weekend. Now, we know what panels will be available to sit in on over the weekend.

Time to start speculating!

As ever, there are so many intriguing panels lined up across the convention. Headlines will likely be made during the “Lucasfilm’s Studio Showcase” panel opening the weekend on Friday morning. The 2022 edition saw appearances from the cast of Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ahsoka, and even Harrison Ford dropped in. With cast members from The Mandalorian, Andor, and Ahsoka confirmed to be in attendance, is it fair to expect information on the future of those shows? There are murmurs of a new feature film being readied, also, which is certainly something to keep an eye on!

Elsewhere, we’re set to get our first look proper at the Ahsoka series, with both Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau helming an hour-long look at the next chapter in the journey of a fan favourite. The collective genius behind The High Republic will give us our first look at Phase 3 of the best-selling literary opus. 2023 also marks the 40th anniversary of Return of the Jedi, and Ming Na-Wen will host a panel looking back at, the sixth entry in the Skywalker Saga.

There’s plenty more, of course. And I personally could take up thousands of miles of code talking about all the things I think (hope) will be announced at each of the announced panels. No matter which way you look at it, there’s plenty already announced to keep fans of all persuasions will find something to enjoy!
