New Funko! Pops announced ahead of Celebration

The wait for Star Wars Celebration is almost over as the anticipation builds for the April 7th kickoff. Funko! unveiled new POP! Vinyls today that will be sold exclusively at the event held far far away. The first is a 2-pack featuring a fan favorite astromech R2D2 and it’s counterpart R5D4. R2 has been a fan favorite but, recently R5 has been getting to have some light with it’s appearance in The Mandalorian as Din and Grogu’s sidekick.
In addition to the 2-pack of droids fans can also get their hands on the loveable Gungan Jar Jar Binks! No, this is not the Darth Jar Jar you were looking for but, instead it features him droopy eared and tongue out matching what many of our expressions will be while attending Celebration. Be on the lookout for more details regarding the figures as we get closer to the event. In addition to these new announcements Funko! is releasing another R2-D2 figure for the Disney 100 series.
The droid will come in at approximately 3.1 inches and will be sold for $15.99. Collectors everywhere better start clearing their shelves soon to make room because these won’t be the last figures to be announced. Star Wars Celebration is being held in London this year after being held in Anaheim in 2022. Fans attending the event can expect a comic-con like atmosphere with panels, celebrities, and exclusive merchandise all being apart of the fun. Some of the guests include Ewan McGregor, Andy Serkis, Ian Mcdiarmid, Roasrio Dawson, Hayden Christensen, and more!
