Lego is always on top of its game when it comes to new Star Wars releases, and while the third season of The Mandalorian might have only just begun, they’re already bringing out new sets to tie in with the show. The latest is set 75361, which features the mechanical Spider Tank from ‘Chapter 18: The Mines of Mandalore’.

In the episode, Din travels to Mandalore, venturing into the mines to find the Living Waters. He isn’t alone, however, a strange cyborg creature lives in the darkness, riding in a large multi-legged tank. Din is captured by the creature, leaving Grogu to fetch help in the form of Bo-Katan. The former ruler of Mandalore arrives and makes quick work of the Spider Tank, using the Darksaber to cut it to pieces and apparently kill its driver.

The new Lego set is 526 pieces and provides a lot of opportunity for play or display, with posable legs, grabbing claws, two stud-shooters, and space inside for minifigures. If you’re hoping to recreate some memorable scenes from the episode, don’t worry, the set also features minifigures of Din Djarin, Bo-Katan, with both Mandalorian also carrying blasters and jetpacks, as well as a cute Grogu figure. While it’s not the first time these characters have appeared in brick form, their inclusion helps make the set feel more complete.

One brick that’s going to get fans talking is the new Darksaber piece. There’ve been a lot of complaints that the usual black Lego lightsaber blade just isn’t right, and the new mold definitely has a more faithful look to it, capturing the Darksaber’s unique shape better, and going some way to deal with a criticism fans have had for a long time.

The Spider Tank set retails at $49.99/£46.99, and is currently available for pre-order, with a release date set for August 1st, giving you plenty of time to find some space for the latest fine addition to your Lego Mandalorian collection.
