We spent most of last’s week’s episode of The Mandalorian on Coruscant with Elia Kane and Dr. Pershing — not that this is a tragedy; it was a nice break in pace and important in showing the state of the New Republic at this time in galactic history.
But it looks like the upcoming Carl Weathers-directed episode will heavily feature Din Djarin and company again, which is great for Grogu and Bo-Katan stans alike.
On this week’s episode of The Mandalorian, “Chapter 20,” it’s quite possible we’ll finally see that flashback we’ve all been waiting for — you know, the one that probably takes place during Order 66 because for some reason we’re being made to relive it in every show that has come out on Disney+ so far?
Because Dave Filoni is credited as a writer on this episode (along with Favreau) — and because of Rosario Dawson’s recent Instagram post — many fans are speculating that a character like Ahsoka Tano will show up in this week’s episode.
But because Filoni isn’t directing the episode — and therefore might not have as much of a say in what happens with one of the characters he and George Lucas created previously — it’s not totally certain whether or not we should expect a major “cameo” this week.
I could be wrong, though. I prefer to be surprised.
