The Mandalorian Season 3’s 5th episode lands tomorrow, which means that the second half of the season will be officially underway. The previous two seasons of the series have taught us that the show only gets better with each episode, and the second half of the season is really where all the fun is, and all the hidden cameos as well. Here are 3 reasons why the second half of The Mandalorian, Season 3 is probably going to blow us all away.

  1. The Mythosaur is will rise: The ancient creature that we got a glimpse of in Chapter 18 hasn’t been seen again since it’s shocking reveal, but we know it’s going to show up eventually at some point in the remaining four episodes. Once it rises to the surface and everyone gets a look at it, all eyes will be on who ends up riding it or taming the creature. We know that Mandalorians believe in Mythosaurs and that their appearance symbolizes the start of a new age of Mandalore, so this moment is going to be a turning point in Mandalorian history.
  2. The Cameos: Who’s about to show up? Season 1 ended with a shocker when Moff Gideon emerged from the wreckage of his ship. holding the Darksaber in his hand. Season 2 had cameos galore, including Ahsoka Tano, Boba Fett, Bo Katan Kryze, and Luke Skywalker. It’s only right that makers follow their own tradition of second half cameos that break the internet. Will it be Grand Admiral Thrawn, a surprise appearance by Ahsoka Tano, or even someone like Sabine Wren? We’ve got our seatbelts locked and cannot wait for the exciting reveals. Even the return of well established characters from the previous seasons including Migs Mayfeld would be quite welcomed.
  3. The Darksaber: That darned thing has been put on the backburner so far this season but it’s bound to play a role in the rest of the episodes. It’s hanging from Din Djarin’s waist, and we’re all waiting for him to figure out what to do with it. Now would be a great time for him to use it to its full potential and learn to control it the way Sabine and Bo Katan did. Will Din and Bo get into a brawl over it, or will the writers come up with some other shocking twist in the history of the Darksaber?
