The brand new series called Ahsoka hasn’t even officially launched over on Disney+ yet and it’s already a mega hit among any and all Star Wars fans. Whether it’s the fact that you love her origin story in The Clone Wars, or you think Rosario Dawson is super bad a** for playing such a cool character, it’s pretty safe to say that this show will bring so many different elements for everyone.

With this brand new TV series to come sometime in 2023 this year, there is still so much that we don’t know about it. Lucky for you, though, there just so happens to be a lot that we do know.

Here’s everything that you need to know all about the upcoming Ahsoka series.

We’re going to be diving pretty deep into all of the information that we already know about the already coveted Disney+ series. It’s actually reported that the show has quite the potential to be a whole heck of a lot bigger and mean so much more to the Star Wars universe than we actually think. It even has the potential to totally and completely redefine The Force itself.

In no particular order (or importance, that is), here’s everything we know about Ahsoka:

Cast: Who’s playing/voicing who?

As far as the main title character Ahsoka Tano goes, of course we already know that Rosario Dawson will be playing the mega cool character who was once Anakin Skywalker’s padawan.

Speaking of Anakin Skywalker, it’s actually been reported that Hayden Christensen is reviving his role, as well as his role as Darth Vader. Of course, something like this is in the form of a flashback.

Moving onto a character that comes from the TV show Star Wars Rebels, Sabine Wren will be back and played/voiced by Natasha Liu Bordizzo.

There are a few other people from other Disney+ Star Wars shows, such as (actor names) Ivanna Sakhno and Mary Elizabeth Winstead who are also going to be involved in the show, although their roles are currently undisclosed (as soon as we know something, so will you). In addition, Ray Stevenson has been cast as an “unknown villain” within the show; Eman Esfandi will also return.

Plot: What will the show be about/focus on?

We all know most, if not all, of Tano’s origin story: she survived both Order 66 and the Clone Wars as well as “living through the entire Galactic Wars”. Given how much she’s been through in her earlier years, there’s definitely a lot to go off of there; however, since we’ve already seen a lot of that the show will likely focus on more present-time adventures. While it’s not yet confirmed officially, Ahsoka is going to take place during/at the same time as The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett, and likely take place after the third season of Mando that is currently out and streaming over on Disney+ as well, and also after Return of the Jedi.

The last time that we saw Tano was in the second season of Mando where she seemed to be on the hunt for Grand Admiral Thrawn. She was also seen super adorably training Baby Yoda and helping him use The Force in order to contain his obsession with that tiny metal ball.

Maybe Ahsoka will take place just where Tano’s journey left off during The Mandalorian as she left Mando with instructions to go and find the planet of Tython in order to get Baby Yoda connections good with The Force (that scene where he is placed on top of the mountain that we all know and love oh so much) and ultimately choose his path where there was a chance that a Jedi may or may not sense his presence (Luke Skywalker ultimately did in order to come and rescue him at the end of Season 2). She looks and Mando, “May the force be with you” and they part ways…for now.
