Who might show up to rescue Din in Chapter 24?
The Mandalorian Chapter 23 “The Spies” was action packed and epic to say the least. The episode had action, emotion and even some cute Grogu and Din moments. Everything seemed to be going just fine for the group of Mandalorians on their way to “The Great Forge” on Mandalore, but it was a trap and they were ambushed by Moff Gideon and his soldiers. This led to a struggle to escape and fight back as well.
Paz Viszla lost his life as he held his ground and fought off the Imperial troopers. This allowed Bo Katan and others to escape. Din Djarin got trapped on the other side and was captured by Moff Gideon who ordered his men to take Din to the “debriefing room”. We can only imagine what will be done to Din in the debriefing room. For those fans who recently watched Andor, memories of Bix getting tortured by the Empire are fresh. No one wants to see that again.
Hopefully, for the sake of the series and its beloved lead character and father of little Grogu, Mando’s friends will recuse him in time. He has amassed a number of close ones on his journey so far, including Boba Fett, Greef Karga, Fennec Shand and even Ahsoka Tano. Here’s a few names we’d like to see coming to Din Djarin’s aid in Chapter 24.
- Grogu– Last season ended with dad rescuing his son from Moff Gideon, and maybe this season can end with baby helping to rescue his dad. It might even result in a sweet hug or a moment where Din removes his helmet for his son the way he did last season.
- Migs Mayfeld- He’s a scrappy fellow and hates the Empire. He survived last season and gained his freedom because he helped Din in Chapter 15, so it would be a welcomed return if he showed up to save Din in the finale.
- Boba Fett and Fennec Shand– Boba does owe Din for helping him out in the finale of The Book Of Boba Fett. It would also be a really neat way to bring Boba back into the mix and the two Mando bros can be reunited after a long gap. Fennec Shand doesn’t miss, so she would be a formidable partner to bring along for the rescue.
- Ahsoka Tano- We know she’s a busy one and is still on her own journey, but if Grogu happens to reach out to her and she answers the call, it would be one hell of a surprise and a great way to lead us into the Ahsoka series. It would also let Ahsoka know about the Imperial presence of Mandalore.
Who do you want to see in the finale? The Mandalorian Season 3 is streaming now on Disney+.
