The Mandalorian Season 3 is over, but that doesn’t mean we won’t be seeing Din Djarin and Grogu again before Season 4 releases. There’s a good chance Din and Grogu could appear in the Ahsoka series which premieres in August. Even though this isn’t confirmed, it’s something that makes sense especially now that we have a clearer idea of what Mando Season 4 will be about.

Based on the finale of this season, The Mandalorian Season 4 should focus on Din Djarin returning to his bounty hunting ways as an Independent Contractor, helping to hunt down Imperial Remnants for the New Republic. It’s a business proposition he makes to Carson Teva, and an offer that seems too good for Teva to refuse. Who knows the sort of targets he will need to hunt down, and where that hunt will take him and Grogu along the way? Perhaps they’ll even run into Ahsoka.

This can be done easily because based on what we know about the plot of Ahsoka, she too will be on the lookout for Grand Admiral Thrawn, and is likely to encounter a number Imperials along the way. Maybe one of them can be someone Din Djarin is on the hunt for. They can work on a case together, or maybe Ahsoka can hire Din Djarin’s services in helping to track someone down. Eventually, the bounty hunting is bound to become something with higher stakes for Din and Grogu. Despite their ideal ending in Season 3, they’ll definitely be lured back into the action very soon.

Meanwhile, Ahsoka has appeared in The Mandalorian Season 2 and The Book Of Boba Fett. These shows are all spinoffs of The Mandalorian, and set in the same timeline, leading to a climactic crossover event in the form of Dave Filoni’s movie. The release date isn’t set for Filoni’s Star Wars film, but the foundation for the events leading to it is slowly being set.

We’ve already seen Ahsoka working together with Din Djarin in Mando Season 2 to deal with Morgan Elsbeth who hired Din to eliminate Ahsoka. It was a great partnership and one to look out for again as more events unfold in the Mandoverse.

Ahsoka premieres this August on Disney+.
