Fortnite and Stars Wars are teaming up once again, introducing characters from the prequel trilogy, along with new cosmetic awards and outfits. Players will also be able to receive training from Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and Darth Maul as part of the “Find the Force” event, running until May 23 at 9 a.m. ET.

There will be two types of reward tracks as part of the event. Firstly, the free reward track will include items like the Clone Trooper Outfit, however, the premium reward track will get you items like the Ahsoka-inspired Clone Trooper outfit and Darth Maul, costing 1,000 V-Bucks. To progress through both tracks, players will need to earn Galactic Reputation.

Galactic Reputation is earned by completing various quests, such as dealing damage with a lightsaber or unlocking Republic Chests around the island, also home to the clone’s weapon of choice, the DC-15 Blaster. These Force Quests are part of a trilogy, separated into three main sets. There’re three in each set, and once all three are completed, players will earn a Sith Holocron.

After finishing all three and earning three Sith Holocrons, players will receive a Sith Infiltrator Glider. “The Force Within” quests are live now, while the second titled “Begun the Clone Wars Have” starts May 7 at 9 a.m. ET, and the final one, “Fall of the Republic,” begins on May 12 at 9 a.m. ET as well. If at that time players haven’t earned enough Galactic Reputation, an epilogue of quests will begin (called “The First Galactic Empire”) on May 17 at 9 a.m. ET.

Perhaps one of the coolest aspects of the Fortnite and Star Wars “Find the Force” event will be the ability to receive training to learn how to wield a lightsaber, as well as specific force abilities including push, pull, and throw. Players can find holograms across the island where they can accept training from Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and Darth Maul, each with their famous green, blue, and red lightsabers.

Force training will also allow players to run faster and double jump with a lightsaber equipped, perfect for getting around the island more efficiently. These additional skills will be available to everyone, regardless of whether trained by Kenobi, Skywalker, or Maul. Of course, training wouldn’t be complete without the option to purchase Star Wars Outfits from the Item Shop.

Anakin Skywalker and Padmé Amidala Outfits are now available to buy in the Item Shop, with the Amidala outfit coming with an alternative battle-worn Geonosis Combat style. There are also 501st Trooper and 212th Battalion Trooper Outfits to purchase if players prefer to be a good soldier following orders.
