Visions Season 2: Which countries made each episode

Star Wars Visions may have started as a dazzling anthology series from Japan, but the second season has expanded to collaborate with studios from around the world. Here is a breakdown of where each episode was created.

1. Sith

The first episode follows an artist and her droid. The woman’s past as a Sith apprentice comes back to haunt her when her old master finds her isolated hideout. The episode was produced in Spain by El Guiri Studios.

2. Screecher’s Reach

Screecher’s Reach hails from Ireland’s Cartoon Saloon. It tells the story of a group of children who leave their exhausting jobs in a workhouse to explore a supposedly haunted cave.

3. In the Stars

Punkrobot Studio from Chile created a touching story about two sisters who are struggling to survive on a planet that has been destroyed by the Empire. As the last survivors, they struggle to reconcile with their loss.

4. I am Your Mother

The fourth episode from Aardman in the United Kingdom is a tale about a young pilot who, despite being embarrassed of her mother, competes in a family race and bonds with her mom.

5. Journey to the Dark Head

Studio Mir in South Korea created Journey to the Dark Head. When a pilot and a Jedi team up to try to overcome the evil of the Dark Side, they discover things are not as simple as they may first appear. They both have an important lesson to learn through their journey.

6. The Spy Dancer

A famed dancer uses the Empire’s favor to spy for the Rebellion movement in this French short film by Studio La Cachette. Despite their efforts, an Imperial officer watching the show puts all of their plans in jeopardy.

7. The Bandits of Golak

The Bandits of Golak is an episode from 88 Pictures in India. A brother and sister attempt to escape the Empire and an Inquisitor when the sister reveals her connection to The Force in public. The strength of their bond, and the quick thinking of her brother propel them on an action-packed voyage.

8. The Pit

The Japanese studio D’ART Shtajio crafted an emotional episode titled The Pit. In a shocking act of cruelty, a group of Stormtroopers abandon kyber crystal miners in a deep pit. Only one young man is brave enough to find a way out, searching for people who will see the light and rescue his people.

9. Aau’s Song

Triggerfish, a studio in South Africa, tell an endearing story about a young girl who feels a strong connection to the kyber crystals on her planet, who call to her through a song she can’t help but sing.
