5 candidates for the mysterious masked Inquisitor’s identity in Ahsoka
By James Reeve
Starkiller
Easily one of the most popular Star Wars video game characters around, Galen Marek, codenamed Starkiller, would be a hugely popular addition to the Ahsoka line-up.
There have been teases that Starkiller could be a real, living character in the new canon, with a set of armour that looks virtually identical to the Sith stalker armour from 2008’s The Force Unleashed appearing in the background of Luthen Rael’s gallery on Coruscant in Andor.
Along with that little tease is the fact that Starkiller is arguably the unofficial first Inquisitor many younger fans are likely to have encountered, as his role in his debut video game was that of Jedi hunter, taking on the likes of Shaak Ti and Rahm Kota, with the latter’s name appearing in the safe house on Mapuzo in the Obi-Wan Kenobi TV series.
The armour is simple, but would fit in with his role as a Jedi hunter, and bring Starkiller into the fold in an official capacity would be sure to get many fans’ approval.
Like with Mara Jade, having him become a focal point for the future movie could go a long way to boosting the character’s importance and relevance, working as an underling for Thrawn in this newly revised version of the story.
Starkiller would be an exceptionally powerful individual and would give Ahsoka quite a challenge when they come face-to-face, which is something plenty of fans would be excited to see on screen.
