Bariss Offee

One character that would undoubtedly have a big impact should they make an appearance in Ahsoka, is former Jedi Barriss Offee.

Barriss was once a close friend of Ahsoka’s during their time as Padawans during The Clone Wars, but things turned sour when she bombed the Jedi Temple and framed Ahsoka for it, ultimately leading to her jailing and eventual departure from the Jedi Order after proving her innocence.

After fighting Anakin Skywalker and finding herself arrested, Barriss admitted her guilt and was jailed as a result of her actions, with no further word on her or her whereabouts coming in any form since.

Having already strayed towards the Dark Side, it’s possible that the Empire could have taken advantage and lured Barriss into becoming an Inquisitor, with her view that the Jedi had lost their way helping to nudge her in this direction.

With her direct connection to Ahsoka, it would make logical sense for Barriss to be a candidate for this masked Inquisitor, and would be one of the more impactful reveals that could be made when the show airs in August.

Having the pair come head-to-head once again, with their past and diverting paths, would be satisfying to see played out in live action. Ahsoka’s new path could see her forgive her former friend, potentially setting up a way for Barriss to be fully redeemed, or ultimately defeated if she remains firm in her negativity towards the Jedi.

Even though this would be a satisfying return for the character, it’s still not the most logical outcome that could happen when all is said and done.
