Rosario Dawson is a busy lady these days as her series, Ahsoka, will be releasing in August. It’s natural that she’s questioned about who’s set to appear on the show, especially since that rumored name is so huge. Hayden Christensen has been rumored to be a part of the series as Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader for some time now, but this has yet to be officially confirmed.

However, when asked about Christensen’s involvement on the show, Rosario talked about how grateful she is that they both get to play characters that a part of the same universe, and explained that she ad Hayden go way back. The two went to acting school together at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute.  When asked about their history together, Rosario had plenty to say.

"“We were teenagers, and then I saw him right immediately afterwards go into this universe. I never could have fathomed that I would have had any part of that, besides just being a fan of his, and being really proud of him.”"

It wasn’t long after they got to know each other that Hayden ended up in the Star Wars universe. At the time, Rosario had no idea that’s exactly where she would end up eventually, and that too as Anakin Skywalker’s former Padawan. But when she was asked if he’s making an appearance in the show, Rosario chose to play it coy.

"“It’s just been really cool that at this moment, I’m joining it, and he’s been able to come back [in 2022’s Obi-Wan Kenobi] and also get embraced by the Star Wars family in a way that I think is much deserved,” she continued. “It’s definitely one of those things that would be super cool if he was [in Ahsoka], but I’m just really grateful that we’re in the same universe.”"

Rosario isn’t alone in terms of keeping secrets. It’s a Star Wars tradition. Dave Filoni and LucasFilm are also tight lipped regarding Hayden’s involvement in Ahsoka, however, fortunately for fans, the secrets will all be revealed very soon.

Ahsoka premieres August 23 on Disney+.
