Bo-Katan Kryze first entered the Star Wars scene in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. She became central to the plot of the series in the last arc of its final season, and even returned for several episodes of Star Wars: Rebels.

When she leapt back into the fray in The Mandalorian, it was thrilling to see her story pick up years after where it had left off in Rebels.

The end of The Mandalorian Season 3 has brought her Star Wars future into mysterious territory once again. The season ended with her getting her longtime wish — to see the reunion of the Mandalorian people and to reclaim their homeworld of Mandalore once more.

So what’s next for Bo-Katan? At the moment, we don’t know much about the future of her character. Whether you move forward or back in time, there isn’t a ton more you could do with her character unless you wanted to expand on the stories that have already been alluded to in other media, such as the Night Of a Thousand Tears.

There’s a lot of potential to explore her early life growing up alongside Satine on Mandalore, but this might be a story best reserved for a book that could take the time to dive deeper into each character and their conflicts.

Bo-Katan adds another strong and welcome presence to the franchise — a warrior who also knows how to lead, build people up, and do what’s best in the moment. She is the kind of Mandalorian who has the power to change the galaxy’s perception of her people, creating peace between Mandalorians and everyone they seek to help moving forward.

Her song is not yet written. Her story is not yet finished.

No matter where she goes from here, she will be remembered.
