The wait is finally over! Episodes of the long-awaited Disney+ live-action Star Wars series Ahsoka are finally premiering today — a day earlier than originally announced.
The announcement was made late last week that the show would air in the evenings on Tuesdays this season rather than the early-morning Wednesday drop every Star Wars Disney+ TV show has adhered to since the platform first launched in November 2019.
The Dave Filoni-created series allegedly follows Ahsoka Tano, Sabine Wren, and other (possibly familiar) friends as they reunite to confront enemies new and old. Somehow, Grand Admiral Thrawn has returned — and it appears he isn’t the only threat our main characters seem to be up against.
As per usual with Star Wars streaming series of late, we’ve only been given a very small amount of information regarding what this show is really about. Think back to the beginning of The Mandalorian, when we all assumed we were sitting down to watch a show about a lone bounty hunter ruthlessly tearing his way through the galaxy to get what he wanted. Instead, we got a show about a lonely man who stumbles upon an innocent baby and becomes said baby’s space dad.
In other words, we don’t know what we’re in for tonight. And maybe that’s for the best.
Here’s when and where you can watch the premiere episode of the first season of Star Wars: Ahsoka online.
