Next Ahsoka episode to drop in select theaters
Star Wars fans are still recovering from the latest episode of Ahsoka on Disney+. The sights, sounds, and feels for the most recent Star Wars installment had us all on the edge of our seats with callbacks to both Rebels and The Clone Wars.
But the excitement of Episode 4 hadn’t even worn off yet when we were hit with news of Episode 5. Not just the teaser posters that were released showing Ahsoka AND Anakin, but Lucasfilm has given notice that next Tuesday’s episode will be available in theaters.
The question is, how many theaters? And will fans be able to find a theater near you that is playing the episode? Fortunately, there is a website that can help with that. Fans can check their local theater’s availability or a town close enough to them. Viewers will need to either have an existing account from this website or be willing to start a new account. Logins with social accounts from Facebook or the social app formerly known as Twitter will work as well.
So what can we expect to see on the big screens? Rumors say that the World Between Worlds and a recreated Mustafar battle will be shown, but this time between Ahsoka and Anakin instead of Obi-Wan and Anakin.
We have to think that Disney and Lucasfilm are pulling out the stops for this upcoming episode if they are willing to put it in theaters. Up until now, most Disney+ shows have remained exclusive to the platform. So click the link, get your passes, and be ready for big-screen Ahsoka action.
New episodes of Star Wars Ahsoka drop Tuesday evenings exclusively on Disney+, and sometimes in theaters.
