When it comes to a large-scale event like New York Comic-Con, Star Wars books aren’t necessarily the first thing on your mind. But From a Certain Point of View: Return of the Jedi is getting its very own spotlight on the first day of the upcoming convention.
The panel, called “From a Certain Point of View: Return of the Jedi: A Star Wars 40th Anniversary Celebration” and scheduled for the afternoon of October 12, will serve as an opportunity for a handful of project contributors to discuss the book and celebrate its success.
Panelists include Tom Hoeler (Random House Worlds editor and moderator), Adam Lance Garcia, Danielle Paige, Jason Fry, K Arsenault Rivera, Sarah Glenn Marsh, and Tara Sim.
FACPOV: Return of the Jedi, like the previous books in the series, is a collection of 40 short stories written by 40 authors in celebration of the 40th anniversary of Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. Each story chronicles part of the movie from a different perspective, whether it be Ewok, Sarlacc, Wedge, or Dexter Jettster. And so many more beloved characters as well as those getting a true spotlight fo the very first time.
The panel will be the first in-person opportunity those who worked on the project will have to come together and look back on the monumental endeavor. These authors know their characters better than you think — and this is their chance to finally talk about them at length in the same room.

New York Comic-Con 2023 runs from October 12-15.
