Star Wars books
Even though Del Rey just released From a Certain Point of View: Return of the Jedi at the tail end of August, another Star Wars book released at the very beginning of September that High Republic fans won’t want to miss.
Tales of Light and Life (September 5) is a short story anthology published by Disney Books and set during The High Republic. The book features stories from every High Republic author contributing to the publishing initiative, including Zoraida Cordova, Lydia Kang, Tessa Gratton, Justina Ireland, Claudia Gray, Daniel Jose Older, Cavan Scott, George Mann, and Charles Soule. The Barnes & Noble exclusive edition of the anthology includes an additional short story by newcomer Alyssa Wong.
These short stories take place across the High Republic timeline and feature fan-favorite characters across the initiative’s phases. One story allegedly takes place right before the start of Phase III.
