October is an extremely busy month for Star Wars comics and books, and the first week of comics is no exception. There are three new issues of ongoing series (and a few tie-ins) available today, and you’re not going to want to miss out.

From more dark droid infestations to a grand return to the golden age of the Jedi, here are all the new Star Wars comics dropping this week.

Bounty Hunters 39

Written by Ethan Sacks, illustrated by Davide Tinto and Arif Prianto, and published by Marvel Comics, the 39th issue of the ongoing Bounty Hunters series features Valance in another Dark Droids series tie-in. The past several weeks of comics releases have involved various tie-ins with the larger series, and you should read those first before diving into this new issue.

Darth Vader (2020) 39

Written by Greg Pak, illustrated by Raffaele Ienco and Federico Blee, and published by Marvel Comics, the 39th issue of the ongoing Darth Vader (2020) series features Vader battling his own relationship with hatred in another Dark Droids tie-in. You should read the previous issues and entires into the larger Dark Droids series before reading this one.

The High Republic: Shadows of Starlight 1

Written by Charles Soule, illustrated by Ibraim Roberson and Fer Sifuentes-Sujo, and published by Marvel Comics, this is the first issue of the Shadows of Starlight miniseries. The series takes place in the year following the fall of Starlight Beacon (between Phases 1 and 3 of The High Republic publishing initiative) and follows familiar High Republic and Star Wars characters such as Master Yoda.

Each of these comic issues are available today wherever you get your Star Wars comics. You can usually find new Star Wars comics at your local shops or online if you want your new issues as soon as they become available each week.
